Timber Jack Joe Last Mountain Man of Wind River Range
The final mountain man Timber Jack Joe lives a solitary life in four shacks along a 100 mile trapping line in the Wind River mountains. A veteran trapper since youth he roams with Appaloosa ponies and a Bobbie Bearded band of gear while roping rodeos and parades in summer. Joe’s ethic centers on respect for animals and self belief, guiding his life through harsh seasons and caring for deaf children and pets.
