Perry Helps Indians Edge Orioles in 10 Inning Rally

Gaylord Perry and Dick Allen featured in the night’s AL action as Cleveland beat Baltimore 4 1 in 10 innings. Perry earned his 17th victory with a six hitter and a key squeeze bunt that sparked a three run rally. Allen homered for Baltimore in the first inning and continued his strong hitting pace. Other AL results included Milwaukee over Detroit 3 2, Minnesota 4 Oakland 3, California 3 Texas 2, and Boston 6 New York 5 in the late game.
