Johnson attorney explains charges in child's death
The attorney for Balderas seeks clarity on acts that resulted in the death of her child Marcus. Prosecutors say between January 1 and April 30 she knowingly created a substantial risk by depriving the boy of proper health care and supervision. The child died after blunt force head injuries noted in autopsy. Police responded to a mobile home on Waterfront Drive after noon on April 30. Marcus was pronounced dead at the hospital.
