Marion Independent school board named Larry Twachtmann associate principal of Marion High School to become principal on August 1. He succeeds Leland Wise who resigns to head Benton Community Schools at Van Horne. Twachtmann 46, married with three children, has long service in the district and a background in industrial arts and coaching.
