Depot project to break ground near NewBo in Cedar Rapids
Ground will break next week for The Depot a $20 million mixed use development behind NewBo City Market developed by Altmann Companies on the former Iowa Iron Works site. The four building 90 000 square foot complex aims to create 100 plus jobs with occupancy expected spring or summer 2016.

Fieldhouse to downsize Cedar Rapids location
Fieldhouse will move from its 8,000 square foot Blairs Ferry Road NE site to a smaller 3,000 square foot space at 5001 First Ave SE. New location opens mid August just before football season, same menu and decor, with owner Dave Carey pursuing a Las Vegas Fieldhouse of about 4,000 square feet later.
