Flood aid draws near 1200 applicants in Cedar Rapids
About 1,167 residents have applied for city flood loss grants up to 10000 to cover uninsured possessions from the 2008 Cedar Rapids flood. The program aims to help unmet needs with up to 14 hundred households possible and may spend up to 10.5 million dollars funded by an 80 million flood tax take over 63 months.
