Man Arrested in Death of Cedar Rapids 3-Year-Old
Charles James Goddard 26 of Fairfax was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder in the February death of Kayla Patricia Blahnik, daughter of Goddard’s girlfriend. Police say Kayla died at University Hospitals five days after an ambulance call to 712 Owen St NW Cedar Rapids. Goddard is jailed on 500000 bail.
