Harry Sellers 90 Central City Resident Dies
Harry R. Sellers, 90, Linn county and Central City resident for 50 years, died Wednesday at a Cedar Rapids hospital. Born July 12, 1881 in Brighton England, he married Edna Whitcomb in 1909 and Florence Lewis Hackett in 1937. He moved from England to Fredricksburg in 1905 and to Central City in 1920 where he operated the Iowa Electric Light and Power plant. Surviving include wife a daughter a son a stepson two stepdaughters a granddaughter and a great grandson. Services 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Murdoch chapel Central City with burial at Oak Hill cemetery Masonic graveside rites to follow. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday.

Revolutionary Kit Found On Boy 15 Arrested For Tampering
A 15-year-old boy was arrested for attempting to remove a Denver boot from a parked car. Police found a large cache of weapons and revolutionary material, including forged money, explosive and incendiary instructions, time to hit targets, two switchblade knives, wrenches and wire cutters, 84 keys, and a California ID booklet. Authorities questioned him about the Civic Center bombing. he said he supported such acts. He was released to his father.
