Prairie Meadows may seek state aid to survive

Prairie Meadows Track President De Baumgarten said the financially struggling track could seek state and local help if upcoming racing resumes and $1.7 million in cuts do not stop red ink. Riverboat gambling plan in Linn County is dropped

Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau will not push riverboat gambling onto the November ballot.
