East Iowans Join Cornell Summer Research Effort

Five eastern Iowa residents are among 13 Cornell participants in a 12 week chemistry and biology program. Students include Bruce Frana Julie Worcester Craig Kouba Ruth Hetland and Gayle Wallace with work on stannous fluoride dental enamel and complexes of transition metals. The program funds exceed 30000 from NSF Research Corp NIH and Sloan Foundation.
