Car in the clouds slips into water at Ellis harbor

Joe Kells of 610 Carroll Drive SE parked on the Ellis boat harbor peninsula Tuesday afternoon. After 4 pm the car rolled down the bank and nose first into about four feet of water. Rescuers used a boom and belts to lift it from the water to avoid undercarriage damage. Kells said there was no damage and the cause remains unclear whether the brake was forgotten or the transmission slipped.
