Iowa Citys three member Economic Development Committee will review a 14.2 million incentives package for The Chauncey developer Marc Moen. Of this 12.1 million is tax increment financing to be returned to the project, plus 2.1 million for the city owned property and rights under it. The plan accompanies a 49 million project with a theater bowling alley hotel and eight stories of housing facing criticism over public funding and zoning.
