Jump Shift Responses in Bridge Slam Considerations
The article explains jump shift responses to invite a slam while keeping within game only if opener’s bid is minimum. It uses example hands with spade and heart openings and discusses required high card points for slam invitations. It notes 14 plus points for distributional hands and 18 or 19 for balanced hands, advising two clubs as a safe response to a one spade opening and planning higher bids from there.
