Sattler drops plan for Cedar Rapids manufactured home park
Jim Sattler Inc. abandoned a plan to build a manufactured home park along Council Street NE near Robins and the Tower Terrace Road extension after 3 years of neighborhood opposition and 800 petition signatures. He may seek zoning changes in August to develop 60 acres with 157 single family homes and 35 to 45 condominiums, with prices from 130 000 to 250 000. Building could begin in spring, with a 2 to 5 year completion horizon if approved.
