APAC Telemarketing to Hire Up to 660 in Eastern Iowa

Chicago based APAC Telemarketing plans a regional office in Cedar Rapids at 4070 22nd Ave SW occupying 14 000 square feet of the former Hewlett Packard building. The firm will hire 250 to 300 in Cedar Rapids, mostly part time, with starting wages at 5.25 dollars per hour plus 15 to 20 percent bonuses. Training starts soon as 40 hires already announced. Additional branches are planned in Dubuque and two other eastern Iowa communities, employing up to 120 more workers.
