Fountain fountain returns as History Center water feature in Cedar Rapids
A 113 year old stone fountain with two water streams, once a free drinking feature, is reinstalled outside The History Center at 800 Second Ave SE. DAR funded its revival, with renovations by Prairie Creek Nursery and design input from local firms. The landmark now sits at 5 Turner Alley near Grant Wood’s Daughters of Revolution painting, while the drinking outlets remain capped and non drinkable.
