A pot bellied pig named Lillie escaped in Cedar Rapids on Independence Day, eluding a volunteer militia and police. After bites through its pen, the pig was chased through Vernon and Ridgeway drives by neighbors and officers, then detained overnight at the animal shelter and set to move to a farm in Central City.
