Spain legalizes gay marriage in historic vote

Thai anglers net record Mekong giant catfish in Chiang Khong

Thai fishermen landed a 646 pound Mekong giant catfish on May 1 in Chiang Khong northern Thailand. It is believed to be the heaviest freshwater fish ever caught in the country since 1981, though the fish died before release and was sold for food. Zeb Hogan plans a scientific paper on the catch.
