Cedar Rapids City Council Acts On Zoning And Infrastructure
Cedar Rapids City Council met in regular session with Mayor Donald Canney and four commissioners. Actions include rezoning requests on Collins road and C avenue NE, adjustments to R-1 to R-2 on Circle drive NE, water main projects in Rolling Green Unit V and Northbrook Unit 6, sewer and paving projects, fuel bids, beer and cigarette permits, no parking on East Thirteenth Street SE, demolition for open spaces, and a one year extension of industrial waste treatment with General Mills.
