Rural youths in America show higher drug use study says
A National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse report released at the U S Conference of Mayors winter meeting finds eighth graders in rural areas far more likely to use amphetamines cocaine crack and marijuana than urban peers. The study cites 1999 data and calls for expanded funding of anti drug efforts in non metropolitan areas.
