Canadian and U S experts search for debris from the Soviet Cosmos satellite after detecting a patch of extremely dangerous radiation about 200 miles west of Baker Lake in north central Canada. Defense Minister Barney Dawson says the radiation may come from a nuclear power package. U S and Canadian planes scoured the area but found no new evidence as scientists note the source could be underground emitting a narrow plume.
