Three men charged after Christmas shots fired in Iowa City

A 29 year old man was found injured outside an SE Cedar Rapids apartment complex and died at a hospital. Police were called at 8 59 p m Wednesday to 1258 15th St SE and say the death is a homicide under active investigation with no suspect detained.

Cedar Rapids police say Andrew Derr 21 was arrested in New Orleans by Orleans Parish authorities and will be returned to Iowa to face armed robbery charges.
