Amanan Fined In Linn District Court For Drunk Driving
A Middle Amana resident by the name of Amanan was fined 300 dollars in Linn district court Friday after pleading guilty to a drunk driving charge. John A. Trumpold, 31, withdrew an earlier not guilty plea and was arrested November 29 in Cedar Rapids. In another matter, Louis W. Juergens, 40, of Dyersville, received until Tuesday to plead to a false check charge for passing a 25 dollar bad check on September 7, 1957, to a Center Point man. his Linn county court appearance was delayed while serving time on a Dubuque bad check conviction. Wills Admitted-Marian H. Jackson, who died January 12, named a son David and three nephews as equal beneficiaries. Charles L. Benesh was named executor. Marie Stoner, who died January 11, left goods to daughter Ruth Gearhart and granddaughter Betty Moel. remaining estate split among four grandchildren. Nellie E.
