It also covers baked chicken with mashed potatoes, peach butter, celery fruit gelatin, whipped cream and supper ideas including popping corn and apples. Dessert includes White Fruit Cake with citron and candied peels and a long baking time.
Menu item describes turkey timbales served with creamed peas cranberry jelly biscuits and butter along with a vegetable salad dressing and coffee. Ingredients include diced cooked turkey bread crumbs seasonings parsley milk and gravy. Timbales are baked in buttered pans in a water bath.
Clarence Guy Gordon Haddon 43, an unemployed engineer, pled guilty at the Old Bailey to writing demanding letters seeking money from King George. Haddon claimed to be the illegitimate son of the late Duke of Clarence. He had previously sought witness subpoenas in the blackmail case.
Montana, Helena. The house rejected by 50 to 41 a resolution to impeach Governor Frank H. Cooney and, later, a separate measure against Secretary of State Samuel W. Mitchell was withdrawn on request. Haight, speaker pro tem, introduced the measure tied to the board of examiners investigation.
In Tulsa 25 financial leaders including Harry F. Sinclair face embezzlement charges arising from the Exchange Trust collapse that drained about 23 million dollars. Prosecutors allege 23 869.93 diverted from trust accounts. Sinclair says he has not managed the firm for years and is vacationing in Florida.
Four United States citizens were sentenced to six months and one day in Palma Mallorca for attacking a civil guard. Rutherford Fullerton of Columbus Ohio was acquitted. The jailed defendants include Clinton B. Lockwood and his wife from West Springfield Massachusetts Roger F. Mead of New York and Edmund W. Blodgett of Stanford Connecticut.
