Interim Iowa City school chief Al Azinger is among five finalists for the superintendent post. The board trimmed 45 applicants to six with interviews slated for Monday and Tuesday. Finalists include John Cox Urbandale Mary Garcia Clinton Barbara Grohe Shorewood Wis Bill Larkin Milwaukee Wis and Paul Massem Alexandria Va Cronin resigned last summer taking a post in Elmbrook Azinger has led since Cronin left and a February decision is hoped for with July 1 start and salary range 75000 to 85000.
