Outdoor DNA legislation aims to restore funds for DNR agenda
Iowa DNR plans to rewrite hunting preserve and fisheries laws plus restore and maintain funding. The agenda seeks 75 percent state cost share for watershed projects and 100 percent federal funds for certain programs, plus continued REAP funding at 10.6 million. A new hunting preserve fee would rise to 200, and a bill would extend implied consent to recreational vehicles.
