Arlene Sullivan seeks damages for her daughter Diane Sullivan 20 who died January 22 1988 in a three vehicle crash on the Highway 30 bypass near the ADM plant Cedar Rapids. The state argues fault lies with ADM Diane Sullivan and two other drivers.

Lisbon board moves to fact finding with teachers over eight period day

David L. Armstrong 24 of Cedar Rapids is jailed on 25000 bond after a Friday night burglary at Mid River Marina north of North Liberty with accomplice Howard E. Andrews 26 released on DOC supervision for a February 1 preliminary hearing. Responding agencies include Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Coralville Cedar Rapids Police and Iowa State Patrol. Police say they entered the marina with intent to steal boat stereo systems. A January 22 preliminary hearing is set for Armstrong.
