Gets 10 year term after Cedar Rapids break in arrest
Orpheus Clark aged 31 received an indeterminate ten year sentence at Fort Madison state penitentiary within 90 minutes of arrest by Sheriff Petrus and Deputy Condon on a breaking and entering charge. He admitted involvement in the Nov 29 road construction camp robbery near Cedar Rapids and was linked to a rural schoolhouse entry in December. A second Cedar Rapids suspect, Paul Hahn, was also sentenced to ten years. STANWOOD hosts a Masonic and Eastern Star installation with Edith Graft as Worthy Matron and a Fremont lodge installation follows. The Agriculture department notes plant disease spread linked to mild winters.
