No flowers. Contributions to American Cancer Society accepted.
Former Cedar Rapids resident Mrs Charles Rompot died in Seattle on Tuesday after living there a year. Services were held in Seattle. Eastern Iowa survivors include a stepson Elmer Rompot of Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids resident Mrs F Glen Bauer died Wednesday at age 41 after moving from Cedar Rapids to Cedar Falls. Survivors include her mother Mrs Louis Swoboda and brother Richard L Swoboda of Cedar Rapids. Services are Saturday at 1 30 p m in Cedar Falls with Dahl Van Hove Schoff in charge.

In Linn district court three individuals pled guilty to unrelated charges. Lester Bizek of Mt. Vernon faced a reduced larceny charge with a $300 fine and one year jail term suspended, plus probation. Katheryn Hansen, 20, received a suspended fine and two year reformatory term on marijuana possession, with probation. Michael Hildenbrand, 20, pled guilty to possession of hashish for sale after a February 27 raid at a rural Mt. Vernon address.
Two couples appeal compensation for land taken for Interstate 380 south of Cedar Rapids. Harold and Velma Hofmaster contest $21,450 award for 10.6 acres with $10,850 for land and improvements. Lumir M. and Phyllis Kriz contest $9,180 award for 7.4 acres with $7,400 for land and improvements. Final offers were $19,500 and $8,500 respectively.
A $200000 suit against William Anton Bobinet of Chelsea alleges he ran a red light at Edgewood road and Sixteenth avenue SW, causing a fatal Oct 16 crash that killed LaVonne Clark of 1537 Hillside Drive NW. The Linn District Court petition seeks damages for loss of services to her 5-year-old son and 8 month old daughter, plus to her husband Clair, for pain, suffering, and medical expenses through her death on Oct 22.
Forty Coe college students study in Europe during January in three off campus courses. Two students from Cornell College and Huron College join the programs. Courses include Language and Culture Seminar in Vienna led by Dr. Richard Benesh and Term in London on urban ecology and welfare led by Dorothy Layton and her husband.

Darrell L. Hacker, 31, of Bettendorf, was bound over to the Linn County grand jury after a preliminary municipal court hearing on a breaking and entering charge. He allegedly broke into Pazour Motor Sports at 3303 Sixteenth Avenue SW on May 15.
