Alliant rate hike decision in Iowa set for Monday
Iowa Utilities Board will decide whether Alliant Energy can raise electric rates by 14.2 percent overall with residential class increases around 16 percent. The board will consider a pass through for transmission costs, use of regulatory reserves, and reactions to a weakened economy and prior rate adjustments. The case marks Rob Berntsen's first as chairman, with Darrell Hanson and Krista Tanner on the panel.
