Sinclair Mediacom Agree To Eight Day Extension
An 11th hour extension saved over 500 000 Iowa cable customers from losing access to the University of Iowa Orange Bowl on Fox. Mediacom and Sinclair Broadcast Group announced an eight day extension of their retransmission agreement hours before Sinclair would pull the plug on Mediacom's retransmission of 22 stations. The stations include KFXA FOX 28 in Cedar Rapids.
