Dozier Returns Home After Kidnap Rescue at Verona Base
American Brig. Gen. James L. Dozier arrived at Vicenza Italy base four weeks after Italian police freed him from the Red Brigade after 42 days in captivity. Spokeswoman Staff Sgt. Nancy Bouchard said he will rest then return to Verona next week. Dozier plans to stay in Italy until June when his two year NATO tour ends. Meanwhile Maryland Gov. Hughes rejects an inmate dinner plan as rude. Delegates and legislators debated inviting a Brockbridge prisoner with a 12 year burglary sentence to the governor's mansion. United States seeks new Wallenberg search as UN hearings consider whether he may still be alive after Russia captured him in 1945.
