Provisions of tax bill in Iowa affect deductions and rates

It phases out personal property taxes, offers limited breaks for child care and other items, but raises corporate taxes above 250000 and taxes dividends and interest. It ends the state marriage tax deduction and imposes a minimum tax on higher income or capital gains earners, likely increasing state income taxes next year as federal reductions reduce deductibles.
