Linn County sticks with 1971 Squaw Creek master plan
Linn County will continue under its 1971 master plan for Squaw Creek despite critics of the revised plan. Conservation Board members Jeanne Andrea and Roger Dochterman approved the revision which included a larger wildlife area and a lakeside drive, while Tom Neenan and Dave Lyon opposed it. Board member Mike Gibney has resigned, new member not yet named. Neenan said the lake could be built eventually if funded, but he doubts it will happen soon and worries erosion from the roadway.
