Correct this sentence and protect Americans abroad
The passage argues for U S protection of citizens overseas and criticizes withdrawal from global influence. It notes the need for American agents abroad and warns against expropriation by foreign governments, while touching on social hypocrisy and postwar economic concerns. It ends with a grammar correction task.
Critique of US Ambassadors and Diplomatic Plums Abroad
The Italian editor’s view on ambassador appointments is mixed. Some plutocrat envoys deliver creditable service while others err in foreign capitals but are praised at home as signs of democracy.
