Fairbank men sentenced in Buchanan County courts
In Buchanan County District Court Judge George L. Stigler sentenced Lloyd Lee Hinders of Fairbank to a $300 fine and court costs after he pleaded guilty to third degree fraudulent practice related to false statements to obtain job insurance benefits between November 1982 and February 1983. Brent Keil of Independence received a $500 fine and one day of a two day jail sentence for drunken driving after pleading guilty to the January 26 offense. Associate District Judge Frank W. Gilbon Jr. also sentenced Donald Walter Curtis 46, Jon Kenneth Krattenmaker 18, both of Independence, and Court Hamilton Bentley 32 of Rowley, all guilty of drunken driving, each fined $500, with court costs, two days suspended jail, and one year probation. Curtis charged November 20, Krattenmaker October 24, and Bentley November 16, 1984.
