Bill Tightens Iowa Family Plan Jobless Benefits
Iowa House bill proposed by Rep. Robert Naden would tighten eligibility for unemployment compensation under the state family plan. It disqualifies claimants who move to areas with poorer job prospects, raises base period earnings minimum to 300 dollars in the top quarter, and requires staying 10 weeks in a new job to avoid disqualification.
