Three concrete chunks detached from the Woolf Avenue bridge over Highway 6 but city officials say the 7 year old span remains structurally sound. The wood used during deck pour apparently absorbed water and expanded on freezing, causing the breakaway. Crews removed debris and officials assess repairs and costs.
