Olga the brave dog saves neighbor in Springfield Ohio
In March 1981 Springfield Ohio dentist Fred Kragg’s dog Olga a twelve year old black and tan mutt leaps up during car washing and alerts neighbor Jack Werber on the driveway. Fred’s CPR, EMS, and a quadruple bypass save Werber. Olga’s loyalty and sacrifice are celebrated as the tale ends with her own blindness.
