Israel arrests two soldiers including a master sergeant over a February West Bank case near Nablus where a bulldozer dumped earth on four Palestinians. Witnesses say one sergeant ordered the driver to run over them. all survived with injuries, two remain bed-ridden. Further arrests expected.
Grant Severn, 20, a Kennedy High School graduate and Tufts junior from Cedar Rapids, was on a bus near Jericho when a rock attack occurred amid Palestinian Israeli clashes. Severn, visiting a classmate in Israel with Josh Pekarsky of Vancouver, reported the incident from Paris where he studies. No one was hurt, but the bus was heavily damaged and soldiers seized the moment.
