Snowstorm traps Marion officials away from plows
Marion faced a sudden snow emergency as Public Services Director Erv Mossman and six staffers were in Morion on city business, leaving no one to direct street plowing. City Manager Jeff Schott ran the response from headquarters, with only one irate call from his wife. A snow emergency was declared with parking bans on snow routes and alternate side restrictions through Friday morning.
