The 13th annual Blues n Buffett Chili Challenge in Cedar Rapids pits Linn County Blues Society members against Isle of Iowa Parrot Head Club in a friendly cookoff. The Blues n Buffett Chili Challenge takes place 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Cedar Rapids Marriott Hotel. Admission is $10 for ages 7 and up, $5 for seniors 65 and older. proceeds go to the Community Health Free Clinic of Cedar Rapids and H.D. Youth Center. Wright notes the event offers warm drinks and chili to beat winter dullness.
