William E. Meskimen 34 of Cedar Rapids drew a bench parole from a five year sentence for embezzlement of mortgaged property in an indictment by the Linn county grand jury. Noel A. Wright 19 of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Des Moines received a suspended three month jail term for buying beer as a minor at the First Avenue tavern. Judge Floyd Philbrick ordered both sentences.
