Joseph N Kurt 95 Farley native WWII veteran dies

Joseph N Kurt of Farley died Feb 7 2015 at 5 42 am at Shady Rest Care Center Cascade. Visitation Feb 10 at Reiff Farley wake service 4 pm. A legion post and VFW honor guards. Funeral Feb 11 St Joseph Church Farley with military honors. Burial St Joseph Cemetery Farley. He served in the Fighting 69th in Europe earning two Bronze Stars. He is survived by two children six grandchildren and several siblings. Memorials to Joseph N Kurt fund.

Jail costs drop as inmate housing declines under policing shifts
