Iowa Supreme Court rejects licensing fee for lawyers
The Iowa Supreme Court nixed a proposed $100 annual licensing fee for lawyers after broad opposition from attorneys statewide. The Bar Association formed an Access to Justice panel but did not back the fee. Justice Mark Cady said the court will study access to justice further and consider other options.
