Longtime KCJJ radio host seeks liver transplant funding
Tom Langenberg known as Tom my Lang has launched a GoFundMe to raise 20000 for mounting medical bills while awaiting a liver transplant at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He left KCJJ before Thanksgiving after severe liver failure and is now on the transplant list with support from listeners and an Iowa City area benefit planned.

Prenatal services expand at Metro High School
The Prenatal Project at Metro High School expands on site services this month after grants from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation McGrath Automotive Group and CRST International Donor Advised Funds. Expectant parents can earn school credit and attend free workshops to learn about pregnancy labor and delivery and baby care.
