Gov Norman Erbe admitted a big geographical goof in appointing Rep Arthur C Hanson to a short term on the board of control Hanson is from Lyon county in the Eighth district while board member George Callenius lives in Granville also in the Eighth district The error led Erbe to withdraw Hansons name though he did not remove him from consideration for a full six year term starting July 1 Hanson would have succeeded interim appointee Gene Hoffman if confirmed The board also includes Jim O Henry whose term expires in 1965
