Cedar Rapids founder of Honeymead dies in Florida
Reuben Peter Andreas 72, founder and former chairman of Honeymead Products Company of Cedar Rapids, died at 3 30 p m Wednesday in Miami Beach Pia after a long illness. A bread truck driver and feed dealer, he built the firm in its early years and helped establish the first continuous soybean solvent extraction plant in the United States. Born August 13 1881 in Sterling Illinois, he later lived in Florida for health reasons. Continued on Page 2 Col 5.
