May dedication eyed for large Iowa Bird Conservation Area
A proposed bird conservation area in Iowa could be dedicated May 10. It spans 25 530 acres mainly privately owned with 3 265 acres of public land and protects forest, grassland and wetland habitats benefiting bald eagles, hawks, thrushes and meadowlarks.
