Harvard University plans to seek permission for women to apply for Rhodes scholarships for two years of study in England. The Graduate and Career Plans Office will send a letter to Rhodes headquarters in Middletown, Connecticut, seeking to remove the male applicant restriction. Poage, died at her Waco home, Texas.
